I have abandoned my wall for a while now. So I need to catch up. What has been on my mind lately? What it takes to create a positive, fun, yet productive workplace. Hiring conscious, good-hearted people and giving them freedom to produce and to be. They would know they are treated right and they would give it back to your business. Trust, flexibility, freedom of decision-making are the keys. Lazy and underperforming employees would eventually line up with the more happy and productive colleagues, or would leave your company, unable to align with the team. The workforce would move your business forward with less and less of your instruction over the years. Invisible direction, available through evaluation, mentoring, and your inspirations, however, is always needed, to maintain continuous dedication and belief.

With each of my visits back home, I realize more and more how Russia is a happening place right now. The energy level in the air is so toxic that I feel like I need to get things done (be it pulling the weeds in my yard, or changing jobs) immediately after crossing the US border. Job opportunities, investing ideas, work and play balance, off-calendar friends, teasing disobedience, glamour in the slumps - all act as a reactant for my body and soul. I come back reenergized and reassured, that everything I start will be a tremendous success.

Travel, my friends; travel and let your curiosity travel with you, and you will prolong your lives by many years.
